<image:title>Projects - Plymouth Avenue</image:title>
<image:caption>Given that the client wanted an English garden feel, I used a variety of salvias, iceberg roses and scented geraniums. I also add seasonal annuals three to four times a year. In the spring this garden is full of white daffodils and purple dutch iris. In the back garden around the pool, I kept it simple with a green and white pallet, using oakleaf hydrangea and Korean grass.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Painting the garage wall a deep orange and removing unwanted plant material made a simple but profound statement in the back yard of this neglected space. The owner of this property was so inspired that she repainted the whole house! In the front garden, I created pathways and flower beds with decomposed granite. I then used a variety of low maintenance ornamental grasses, limonium perezii, verbena bonariensis, anigozanthos and blue agave.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Morton Avenue</image:title>
<image:caption>This property had views to die that were unobtainable due to the massive amounts of debris. In response, I created launching pads where friends & family could gather to relax and enjoy the outdoor living rooms and thoroughly enjoy the sunsets. I used a variety of plant materials choosing them for their aromas, textures, shade and edible qualities - including a California pepper tree, ornamental grasses, salvias, roses, lavender, grape vines, vegetables and herbs.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Division Street</image:title>
<image:caption>I removed the large hedge in front of the main window as it blocked all natural light from coming into the living room. From there I was able to provide the client privacy with an airy fence, made of wood, steel rope and Mexican Palo Verde trees planted on the street side of the fence. The large concrete pavers and gravel made an area that could be used for patio furniture if desired. The pennisetum grasses are soft and inviting, with moderate water needs and minimal maintenance.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Vista Gordo Drive</image:title>
<image:caption>I took this unused space and transformed it into a comfortable gathering area for tea or cocktails. I placed a thick cushioned lounger for relaxing with a good book or an afternoon nap. The wicker lamp allows for late night get togethers. The potted bamboo creates a "rustling in the breeze" kind of mood and ornamental grasses line the pathway. All plants are low maintenance and have moderate water needs.</image:caption>
